I've been so impressed by the depth of this simulation. Everything from the music to the coasters is so well done; and he ease at which creations can be shared. I am looking forward to all the amazing creations the community will generate as the game progresses.
I always love simulation games, and Planet Coaster seems to be one of the best as of now. The gameplay seems good and so does the graphic, definitely looking forward to what will the game become in the future.
The reason I'm excited about this game is because it's a complete package. It seems to combine the strengths of all previous installments while avoiding the pitfalls.
Basically, you can cross everything off the checklist. Adoring peeps? Check. Wide variety of rides? Check. Good graphics? Check. Steam workshop? Check.
Most importantly, you can check the customization box. The level of detail you can add and the ease with which you can terraform the terrain in a second allows me to finally create the rides I always imagined as a kid.
I have spent way too much time looking at other people play the game and being amazed by the possibilities I'd be so stoked to finally play it myself.
I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon religiously as a kid. It was my first PC game, and it never got boring. I love roller coasters, and being able to design and detail my own is incredible. Eventually, I started to see all of the boundaries the game had, and started branching out to spending hours manipulating custom scenery to make things looks realistic. The process was slow, tedious, and hard to master. I've wanted something more for years, but figured these types of games weren't the trend anymore. Then I heard about planet coaster, and was immediately very excited. I am so excited to see what I'm going to be able to make with this incredibly user friendly simulator. Every single detail about this game seems to have been considered, and it's everything roller coaster tycoon wasn't, and then loads more.
I'm a huge fan of the old Rollercoaster Tycoon and building games like The Sims. Planet Coaster seems like the perfect marriage between these two types of games. Gaming is my favorite pastime and it really helps me cope with the struggles of real life but sadly i can't afford to get all the games on my wishlist. Getting Planet Coaster for Christmas would satisfy my gaming needs for a long time to come!
The roller coaster tycoon games were my all time favourite games to play. Planet coaster has taken the genre to a new level. The amount of customisation that is possible and the creations that have already been made on youtube are incredible. After a 10 year absence and the disappointment following Roller Coaster Tycoon World's development, I can't wait to try Planet Coaster

Thanks everyone for participating! I am still too busy trying to update the wiki with all the new wonderful things to create my own park, but I look forward to seeing all your creations on Steam Workshop. If you wish to feature them on the wiki, you are welcome to do so in the User Blueprint Gallery!
